AudioPad Logo Design
AudioPad are a sound suite specialising in making sounds for video games, who wanted a logo featuring their initials, “AP”.
When researching ideas we looked at early computer game imagery and the bright neon colours of the Akihabara district in Tokyo (the centre of gaming). The logo was made altering the capital A to contain a P, from the typeface “Shock and Awe” by Barnbrook Fonts, which although was originally inspired by missile typography, we thought it had a tech related feel. When showing various audience members, they commented that it looked like a button or that the P looked like an upside down music note.
