A menina que pensava/ Das Mädchen voller Gedanken is a print on demand book written by Soraya Guimaraes Hoepfner and illustrated by Laercio Redondo, aimed at bilingual children by having the same story in two languages.

I worked on the layout and typesetting for this project with Anja Lutz // Art Books. The Portuguese text is placed on the left and German on the right, mirroring each other. The collages were not always symmetrical so we tried to keep as many factors the same as possible, such as the number of lines in a paragraph. One word is highlighted in both languages on each spread and placed in the glossary at the end, in order to make to help with learning the languages.
